Pan Springs Los Mochis — Restaurant in Los Mochis

Tastefully decorated breakfast/lunch place in Los Mochis, Mexico. Most of our group enjoyed their food but the service left something to be desired. We had to ask multiple times for coffee milk, extra napkins, hot sauce, etc…The final straw for me was finding two long fine grey hairs baked into my bagel. After complaining to the waiter, he took my plate back to the kitchen and returned saying that the type of cheese used for my dish is prepared with hair-like substance around it. This sounded ridiculously suspicious to me, so after surfing Google for a while I couldn’t find one article about Mexican cheese prepared with hair. If this was the case, I was sure I’d find at least one other similar complaint - nothing. The closest I could find was string cheese. THIS WAS DEFINITELY NOT STRING CHEESE!!! This was HUMAN hair. I know the difference. Anyhow, after the restaurant refused to admit any fault, I decided to write this review to alert future patrons to bite with extreme caution at this place if you dare decide...

Came here for a late breakfast on a Saturday. We arrived around 1:15 (they close at 3) and were basically the only ones seated. I ordered fresh squeezed OJ, and a French press along with a cinnamon roll that had blueberry cream cheese. The main dish was eggs Benedict norteños - very tasty and the egg yolk was perfect - barely ran down the side of the cut! The French press was good, not great, but better than most available coffee in Los Mochis. I gave only 4 stars for atmosphere as i was not to experience acoustics when tables are full. Will definitely return to try the ‘reg’...

El lugar tiene un diseño interesante pero de ahí en más nada bueno (al menos esa fue la experiencia que tuvimos nosotros). El sabor de la comida deja mucho que desear, sobre todo por los precios que manejan (los entendería si el sabor y todo en general estuviese al nivel). El servicio bastante malo, pedí un agua que nunca me hicieron llegar. La comida fría y sin sabor. Solicité un extra que lo cobraron extremadamente caro y que pueden otorgarlo sin mayor problema dentro del costo. Ojalá puedan mejor esto, porque dejan un muy mal sabor de boca y es molesto ir a un lugar al que asistes queriendo pasar un buen rato y al final es todo...
