This is a tiny breakfast place. Therefore you must be ready to go very early or wait your turn. Why do that? Because they have the best Chilaquiles in Merida, the best mole enchiladas too. If that isn't enough, during August and September they offer the most delicious and authentic Chiles en Nogada. There are no other, like these in Merida.

Really cute little place (seats 9). Get there early as it’s a busy place. The hot chocolate is devine and the chili morita added a nice little Smokey kick to my Huevos Rancheros in a red sauce.

On a adoré notre passage chez Chilakilates : “una buena onda”, un bon repas et une ambiance confortable. Gabi a pris le temps de nous conseillé et de nous parler de son pays. On a mangé des chilaquiles morita et des huevos divorcados. Tout était super bon, et on a vu la différence : la qualité de la cuisine est nettement supérieure à celle des snacks populaires et pour ce, pour le même prix. Il y a une vraie chef en cuisine. Et Servi avec un bon café… ce qui est rare ! On recommande vivement, ça vaut le détour !!!
