Divina Gracia Empanadas & Arepas — Restaurant in Mérida

I was really disappointed, there was little to no patience when I asked about a few details, a friend of mine had recommended this type of food a while ago and I have tasted it, but doesn't look or taste like what I've seen in the past, the taste was weird in this case, like it was a bit off, don't know. Didn't felt right. And the portions were small kinda snack size. I wouldn't recommend nor I understand the good reviews here, maybe a different cook ? Not recommended at all.

Couldn't possibly say enough good things about the food. The ceviche was likely the best I have ever had, and the empanadas were shockingly good. I don't usually enjoy empanadas, but Divina Gracia has shown me what's possible. The empanadas are light and airy yet very moist and gently crispy. The textures and flavors of the masa and fillings made each bite a joy. And the cost of each item is less than I would have expected.
