La Tosteviche — Restaurant in Mérida

If you are looking for a Fresh- friendly - cool place to have seafood whether for Breakfast or dinner... Man! this is a nice place! My husband and I were walking in Francisco de Montejo 2 when we found this place. We are fans of seafood and ceviche is one of our first options wherever we go while we are enjoying vacations in Merida. I wouldn't take my time to take these pictures and writing this if the food and the place weren't amazing! The Chef (who has a Guinness World Record, Fabian Romero, he is a kind host and he prepares your dishes at the moment you order them so the taste of the food is fresh and delightful. The other coolest original thing is the Lemon Juice! He has created his own handcrafted Blue juice and matches the decoration of the restaurant!. Absolutely THE BEST octopus tostada (which also carries the name of the restaurant) I have ever had in Mexico. The octopus was incredibly tender and flavorful with all the spices perfectly balanced. The fish tacos were also amazing and the Jamaica water with rosemary was delicious.

I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to try amazing seafood without breaking the bank.

This restaurant is a hidden gem. The food is just amazing. Both the way how it's served and how it tastes is top class. The chef is an amazing person, who obviously enjoys what he does and loves to make people happy with his skills. We live in Merida and took to the restaurant our friends, who visited us. For them it was an experience of 5 star hotel in Europe, where they would spend way more. We totally love it and will come back...
