Boston's Altabrisa — Restaurant in Mérida

I went to Boston in Merida, the one at 'Altabrisa.' Sorry if I spelled it wrong; I'm not from the area. The thing is, I liked it a lot, really a lot. We went that day because my sister was arriving there, and we wanted to grab a quick bite, without thinking that the experience would be super welcoming. Upon arrival, we placed our order, which was reasonably fast. The waitstaff treated us with great professionalism, and the food was delicious – the pizza, iced tea, lemonade, chicken wings, and everything else we ordered was perfect. I highly recommend it; we liked it so much that we went back before leaving the country. Thanks to the girl who helped me charge my phone at the counter; you're a star. When I return to Merida, Yucatan, I definitely plan to go. I wish we had one in my country.

Fui a Boston en Merida, el de 'Altabrisa'. Disculpen si lo escribí mal; no soy de la zona. Lo cierto es que me gustó mucho, muchísimo. Fuimos ese día porque mi hermana llegaba al lugar y queríamos comer algo rápido, sin pensar que la experiencia sería súper acogedora. Al llegar, hicimos el pedido, que fue moderadamente rápido. Los meseros nos trataron con mucho profesionalismo, y la comida estaba muy rica: la pizza, el té frío, la limonada, las alitas de pollo y todo lo demás que pedimos fue perfecto. Lo recomiendo totalmente; nos gustó tanto que regresamos antes de irnos del país. Gracias a la chica que me ayudó a cargar mi celular en el counter; eres una estrella. Cuando regrese a Merida, Yucatán, obviamente pienso ir. Ojalá tuviéramos...

The only reason why I don't give it 5 stars is because I think is imperative that the administration assign an area for costumers who are smokers away from the "EXIT" and "Enter" walkways. After having a great dinner and evening as a parent you don't want to walk through a group of 3 or 4 people smoking right out side the exit door with your children as it happened to us. We have also seen this at the entrance. That been said, the service is excellent the food is amazing and great clean facilities. This is the place to go with your family to enjoy your favorite meal while cheering for your favorite team. Just please keep the entrance and exit areas free from smoke. We...

I ordered the steak. It was supposed to be cow meat. I thought it looked weird, but was unsure. So, I took one bite & realized it was not only pork, but RAW pork. I do not eat pork because I have a Jewish diet. I threw up in the bathroom & was embarrassed. I told the waiter it was not cow, but he said it was. I made him look at it & the photo on the menu. He went to speak to the chef. The chef said it was pork. The waiter then told me I could have the pork and I was like, uhmmm no way. I ordered cow meat. My partner ordered pizza. It was very salty. I will never ever eat here again. I could have (might still) have gotten a parasite from the raw pork. DO...
