La Piccola Posta — Restaurant in Mexico City

Went there the first time yesterday. The first waiter was very nice. When it was time to pay, a waitress with brown hair suddenly came out and we asked her politely for the bill. She wasn’t in a good mood and it was obvious, but we all have days like this. She came out with the bill and the card terminal, I put the card in and she asked (in a not so nice way) if she should add a tip. I confirmed that I wanted to add a tip and told her the amount. She looked at me like I was crazy, then proceeded to ask „so the tip is only xy amount of pesos?“. When I confirmed it, she looked at me with disgust again, raised her eyebrows and sarcastically said „okay“ which was extremely rude.

The food (2 pizzas) was okay, nothing great and nothing bad. But not what I would expect if I want to eat an at Italian restaurant. This is just not my personal preference. The drinks were okay too, the aperol was just very watery and pretty pricey for what I got.

I definitely wouldn’t go...

A most excellent option for a tasty dinner with classical Italian cooking style including both classical Mexican pizza flavors. Definetely worth the visit. Every part of the experience seemed carefully catered for a fresh, comfortable and enjoyable time. All desserts are worth trying at least once. The "profitetoles" and New York style cheesecake are stunning. My compliments to both the chef and Giovanni for attending...

Esta pizzería es una buena opción si buscas un lugar para relajarte con amigos, disfrutar de unas cervezas y aprovechar buenas promociones. Sin duda, lo mejor de la experiencia fue el servicio, especialmente por parte de Esmeralda, quien nos atendió de manera excepcional. Su atención fue rápida, amable y siempre estuvo pendiente de que no nos faltara nada.

Las ofertas de cerveza y pizza son inmejorables, con precios accesibles que hacen que valga la pena visitar el lugar. Es ideal para una salida casual, sin gastar demasiado.

En cuanto a la comida, la pizza es simplemente regular. No es mala, pero tampoco es algo que sorprenda. La masa, los ingredientes y el sabor cumplen, pero no destacan. Si buscas una pizza espectacular, este no es el lugar; sin embargo, si quieres algo para acompañar unas cervezas y pasar un buen rato, funciona perfectamente.

En resumen, esta pizzería es una buena opción por su ambiente relajado, promociones atractivas y excelente servicio (especialmente de Esmeralda). No esperes la mejor pizza de la ciudad, pero si buscas un lugar para convivir con amigos sin gastar mucho, es una alternativa...
