HOTEL OM686 URBAN LOFTS — Hotel in Mexico City

We were fortunate to find this small hotel, lucky for us. Had an unfortunate experience in an Airbnb so we needed to leave it and find a better place and we arranged to stay at OM 686 for over 3 weeks! What a great place, excellent staff and services plus located in the Narvarte area so you are in the middle of it all, short Uber ride to Coyoacan, Centro, Roma, Condesa and its now becoming quite the food center with great little places close by.I also have to mention they have Sonare Beds and Pillows, true King bed and comfy sofa sleeper too, that are THE best and most comfortable anywhere, fully furnished, stylish, cozy, security 24 hrs, great rates and a caring owner. La zona está muy tranquila y puedes salir a caminar. Hay muchos restaurantes, fondas y tiendas cerca. Si caminas un poco más puedes llegar al centro comercial parque delta. El personal es muy atento y siempre está al pendiente por si ocupas algo. Además si necesitas hacer check-in antes puedes hablar con ellos y te dejan entrar desde las 11:00am sin problema, además para la salida no te están presionando.

Yo siempre hago reservación directamente y la habitación tiene un costo de $900mxn y hay una opción con terraza. Por cierto, tengan cuidado con el piso de las escaleras es muy resbaloso.

Ventajas: Las habitaciones son muy grandes y tienes de todo; refrigerador, estufa, barra, horno, utensilios de cocina y cafetera. La TV tiene buenos canales y además tiene servicios como Netflix, Amazon prime, YouTube y otros. La cama está súper cómoda y las almohadas también. Tienes un closet para guardar todas tus cosas. Está muy tranquilo y no se escucha nada. El fin de semana se pone un tianguis afuera y puedes salir a desayunar, comer y alguno que otro antojo. Tiene aire acondicionado y el Internet es bueno. Está muy limpio. Puedes hacer la reservación directamente con ellos y pagar al llegar o puedes hacer transferencia sin problema.

Desventajas: No hay opción de desayuno, pero puedes ir al supermercado que está cerca y comprar para cocinar ahí. No tiene estacionamiento. Si te toca del lado de la calle y en fin de semana, puede que te moleste un poco el ruido del tianguis desde temprano. No hacen el servicio de limpieza a la habitación, yo estuve 3 días y no...

Not an "apartment" as advertised on AirBNB, but a loud, poorly insulated, and dirty hotel. There were roaches and bed bugs, and the owners suggestion was to move rooms. The washer and dryer that were advertised are not in the unit, but up several flights of stairs, and are almost always in use by the staff. They work very poorly, as well. The place is noisy and the owner is incredibly unpleasant and rude. I would highly recommend staying anywhere...
