I was in Cuernavaca for a couple weeks on business. I chose Gusto as it was perfectly located to where I needed to go for work and centrally located for where I wanted to go after work. ||||I arrived in the dead of night, rang the doorbell and was greeted with a friendly smile. The gentleman took my luggage and showed me directly to my beautiful room. Explained the tv, showed me where the light switches were and asked if I needed anything. The bed was heavenly (comfortable), made up with freshly ironed sheets and a beautiful duvet.||||Every morning when I went downstairs I was welcomed by the receptionist Olivia and the staff in the restaurant. Everyone was very friendly and made sure I had everything I needed. Sr. Diaz, the hotel manager took time to personally ensure that I was comfortable and to let him know if I needed anything at all just to ask. ||||I stayed in the Mercado Azul (Blue Market) room, it was beautifully decorated and had everything I needed. A wonderful supply of plush towels, toiletries and even plush robes. The attention to detail was incredible, well designed and well laid out. The room was very clean, spacious and uncluttered. ||||The hotel is beautiful. You can see that the owner put her heart and soul into finding the most beautiful items from different areas of Mexico. Los precios son moderados, una comida completa por persona varía de los $500.00 a $1,000.00 incluyendo entrada, sopa, platillo y postre, así mismo una copa de vino y café.
Los platillos son servidos en tiempos muy bien programados, normalmente es buena temperatura y bien presentados, así mismo, son bien preparados con apoyo la las recetas.
Describiría el servicio de moderado a aceptable, en cuanto a la cocina, aceptable, los precios de acuerdo a los platillo.
En mi última visita ocurrió un incidente que me llamó mucho la atención, me sirvieron el platillo y minutos después llegó un mesero que no era el que me atendía y me pidió reterirme el platillo, alegando que no era el mio (que el platillo era de término 3/4 y que yo lo había pedido terminó 1/2), al percatarse el mesero que nos atendía, le preguntó que que ocurría, y solo dijo que el platillo estaba equivocado y lo retiró. Este incidente ocurrió dentro de una situación de sorpresa y fue incómodo ver como los camareros no se ponían de acuerdo, lo peor, no recibí explicación adicional, ni elección de conservar mi platillo, simplemente lo retiraron. Aún varios minutos me trajeron otro platillo igual, me sentí incomodado, son situaciones totalmente ajenas a mi como el comensal y más aún sin recibir ninguna. explicación.
Este tipo de incidentes, requieren ser realizados con mucho tacto al cliente, ya que retirar un platillo a un comensal, es algo muy inesperado, y más sin ninguna explicación que lo medio.
Este tipo de comentarios incidentes no son gratos en un restaurante y menos de uno que dice ostentar o ser 4 estrellas.
Por un momento después del incidente, me abordarán varios pensamientos, el platillo estaba en mal estado, o contaminado o sucio o algo semejante, nadie me ofreció algún comentario al respecto, al paso de las horas, solo pienso en que esos incidentes no son de mi agrado.
