This luxury boutique health resort in Cuernavaca is absolutely exquisite. It is the culmination of a decade of dreaming, planning, building and designing by architect Eulalia Silva. Every detail has been carefully selected to appeal to all of the senses in this hidden paradise. As a former family residence, the house has been beautifully transformed. Suites are all named after types of orchids. Each suite includes indigenous art or relics, some of which are family heirlooms. Throughout the common areas you will find a great collection of contemporary and primitive art. || ||The hotel staff will administer to your every need. The concierge is bilingual and always available for questions or advice. Meals are authentically Mexican, delicious, and healthy. They are prepared onsite and served in the al fresco dining area. The owners are often in residence and they are wonderfully delightful and entertaining. ||||Spa services are individualized to your specific health and wellness needs. Aestheticians perform most services but a medical practitioner is on staff to provide direction and evaluation. Emphasis is placed on scientifically based health rejuvenation treatments. ||||I highly recommend that you stay here on your visit to the City of Eternal Spring. We wanted a break from all of the activity in Mexico City, so we took an uber and stayed for a couple of days. So glad we chose Orchidelirium. It was exactly what we needed to relax before our flight...
Read moreOrchidelirium is that rare accommodation that can balance discrete and comprehensive service with a level of privacy so that you feel that you are the cherished and only guests in a grand country house. Your accomplished hosts Lala and Rodrigo in addition to their kind and efficient staff, have created a small paradise on the outskirts of Cuernavaca. Lala, an architect and gifted jeweller, designed the hacienda to look like it has always been and belonged there. The property also includes a small spa, whose quality of services rivalled those to be found at the St. Regis in CDMX, at a fraction of the cost. The rooms are spread around lush gardens and an excellent pool. Orchidelirium is itself situated across from the regional botanical gardens, a marvel in and of itself. We booked two nights here in January and immediately added a third, so loathe were we to leave this tranquil yet sophisticated oasis. Highly...
Read moreWe spent three wonderful nights at Orchidelirium. It's not located in the center of the city, but that adds to its charm, and most importantly, to the quiet and calm that surrounds it. As the last poster noted, Orchidelirium is really more than a hotel. Doña Eulalia and don Rodrigo treated us as if we were guests in their very beautiful home. We enjoyed so many things about our stay: the quiet of the nights, the delicious breakfasts, Carmen's and César's attention to our needs, and the wonderful massages we were given by Ángeles. We will go back to this hotel again and again.||||We have two suggestions though: it would be nice to have more lights showing the path through the gardens to rooms at night and it would be helpful to have a small sign outside the gate indicating the name...
