I remember when the huge dome of “El Toreo” was here. Now it is a mega shopping center and hotel complex. Part of the shopping center is a few high end restaurants. The one we decided to try today was La Vicenta.

It is a pretty large floor plan and we picked to sit outside on the “terrace” with a view of the traffic. I am sure at night it takes a different look.

The food, it regular bar food. We had a shareable dish with many meats, while trying to stay on the keto diet this dish fit perfectly.

The wings were really good, they had a great taste. In some places you have really greasy wings, not the case here. The drinks specials was nice since it was basically two for one, se we had a fair share of drinks. The containers they come in are unique, but I do question how much actually fits in the various container, so I see why the two for one price makes it work.

Overall a bit pricey for what you receive, but of you want some good wings and nice cocktails and are in the area, it a nice place to have a few drinks.

One thing to note, I was with family and having a great conversation when all of a sudden, the music was started to be blasted like if we were in a club, I could hardly hear anyone at the table. They were nice enough to lower it...

Very conveniently located in the mall. We went during the week and it wasn’t crowded and we were able to sit immediately as a party of 3. For an appetizer, I got the guacamole which was very fresh but did need some lime/salt. You also get fresh salsa/corn chip as well. I ordered the Carne Asada Volcanes tacos but they gave me the regular grilled Carne Asada. They had WAY too many crispy onions on it and it took away from the rest of the taco. This is why I wanted the other ones but the order came out wrong. I had also wanted iced tea but ended up getting a hot tea from the server. I chose this restaurant cause I had a good times before and I wanted to celebrate our work succes . Food was fine. , this time they had a rush on getting everything removed from our table. I was finishing my entrance and they were taking away my plate cause my meal arrived. Same happened with my drink; they didn’t ask if it was okay to take it away, they assumed I was done and asked if they can clean my place.
