GREAT food and service. The location is nice and quiet with 2 floors of seating in a clean, traditional setting. Started with tacos de Carnitas... Wow! Hand-made tortillas and and the carnitas had great flavor and texture . A made-to-order licuado y coffee for drink. Then we had Birria y Menudo, both are very good...one of the best birria i have had. We spied other tables and their food orders, everyone looked happy ! Service the whole time was A+. Gringos do yourself a solid and EAT HERE if you're in Tepic !

SOLO TIENE LA FAMA. Pedimos 2 platillos Chilaquiles con birria tatemada o algo así y carne asada con Chilaquiles. Les diré que estuve arrepentido de la birria. Toda reseca, dura y salada. Pareciera que tuvieran días guiando y guiando esa birria. La presentación del platillo muy pobre Poquitos frijoles y una porción de Chilaquiles. La carne asada estába salada y también muy pobre la presentación del platillo. El precio se me hizo caro, debido a las porciones que te dan en el platillo. Lo único bueno las tortilla recién hechas. Me encantó la decoración del lugar. Los empleados muy atentos y serviciales. No cuentan con estacionamiento propio, es un poco complicado encontrar lugar para estacionarte. Pense q por ser de la misma cadena de Mi Lola tendría buen sabor. Pero es muy mala su cocina.

Definitivamente volvería una y otra vez a este lugar. El menú ofrece una gran variedad de platillos, todos a un precio accesible y de una buena porción. Los que pedí en mi visita incluían chilaquiles y frijolitos, que por cierto, muy ricos. Las tortillas hechas a mano, verdaderamente deliciosas. La atención fue amable, atenta y rápida. El ambiente es ameno y muy familiar. Lo recomiendo ampliamente.

This place is GOOD! It has a family feel and the service is great. The workers don't speak English but they are very considerate to non Spanish speakers. The birria is outstanding. Well seasoned, flavorful and melt in your mouth tender. The birria consome is delicious, the shrimp, the limonadas, EVERYTHING is very good. Everything is really good, the food and the service are both amazing, I would totally recommend to go there with your family or to a little breakfast date, the environment is really familiar and fun and the place decoration just reminds me of a little plaza I don't know it's just fantastic I would give 10...
