This is again one of the posts I don't want to share because it's only a matter of time before this place gets overrun. A husband and wife team family restaurant with authentic dishes that have fabulous flavor. While this isn't fancy fine dining it's amazing great food with a personalized touch that makes you feel at home and connecting with the town, culture, and food. We were told that the husband often goes out with local fisherman to get the catch of the day. They have outstanding margaritas, got the cucumber-chili maggie... Good spice and flavor. The tuna steak was amazing, the skirt steak had such great flavor, the guacamole was simple with red onions, cilantro, and a bit of garlic, the crab enchilada has no equal, the white fish ceviche was spicy and plentiful, the chicken nachos were the right mix of beans, cheese, and chicken, and the chicken fajitas were juicy with the best corn tortillas we have ever had. The crepe and fried banana desserts were out of this world. The portions were so big and the prices were extremely reasonable and cheaper than the fancier restaurants in Punta Mita. Don't deny yourself a visit here, so worth it! This is our new restaurant to come to every...

With it's open air setting and ocean views, the atmosphere doesn't get much better than this. We were greeted at the door by the manager, who graciously welcomed us and seated us right away. Within minutes we were sipping fresh margaritas, and listening to the specials of the day. Obviously when in Rome, the fresh catch is a must. We had our choice of Mahi, Tuna, and Snapper, and there was not a wrong choice out of the bunch. Between the quality of the food, the setting, and being serenaded table side by a local guitar maestro, we couldn't have imagined a better way to wrap up a afternoon of surfing. If you're within an hour or even two of Margarita's, do yourself a favor and...
Read moreThis restaurant is a must visit if you are staying in Punta Mita. It is great to explore local options on vacation and not just stay at the hotel and this restaurant is a perfect night out.
It is a small place perched on top of a hill. The service was extremely attentive and the food matched the service. Most the table ordered various seafood options and I ordered a traditional Mexican dish. All guests had the highest marks. The prices were more than reasonable, and the value of the meal receives top marks.
The Margarita's though were amazing and strong. I had several of the cucumber chili margaritas. There was a slight kick to them but not overbearing and the flavor was amazing. We would eat there...
