La Casa de la Abuela Jardín — Restaurant in Nuevo León

Their food was not what we expected. Our experience was horrible, they kept giving us excuses for the lack of items they should have served, they even told us that they are not going to give straws anymore (?) Their flauta plate was sorry looking. No rise no guacamole, worse still they were not covered with enought green sauce like it supposed to be served. Very stingy!!! Their side salad was skimpy plus they had the audacity to serve a tomato slice that was cut days ago I have the pic and told them I was going to post it to Facebook. The woman at the counter didn't seem to care and to make things worse did not try to apologise! instead of serving 🥑 they served beans. Cheep food and expensive. I would never recommend this place since it was a horrible experience for us and dealing with the woman spoil...

This is a 2 pice restaurant. The main and bigger part of the restaurant closes on Mondays but at the corners they have a smaller version of the same restaurant that opens all days and is the same place. The food is really delicious and the drinks are really good and the staff is super friendly. They sell a corn bread that is the best of the best and beautiful and delicious sweet bread as well. The place is neat and clean and very rustic. It actually reminded me of when i lived with my grandmother, i guess thats why the name. If you can go and have a nice and delicious meal don't think it twice. Go to la casa de la abuela and enjoy delicious food and have a good and relaxing...

Everything but the taste was great here. Nice staff, very cheap prices compared to our place, fast service ( the food came out in 5 minutes) it was as if they knew we were coming and knew what we were going to order, but the taste was mediocre with weak salsas and watered down frejoles. And not do hot food. You try and be the judge, don't take my word for it. You might have forgiving taste buds, unlike mine. They also have ice cream in the entryway that looked good. I didn't try it. The restaurant have to entries with different restaurant...
