Beniza Café — Restaurant in Oaxaca

This was my second visit to Beniza. The food and overall experience were just okay.

The ciabatta roll was delicious but came out super late—after we were almost done eating—because they forgot it. Most of our table ordered sweet crepes, which were decent but nothing special. One had way too much chocolate sauce, and the savory Hawaiian crepe could’ve used more pineapple. The mango habanero wings were more sweet than spicy, so a bit disappointing.

Drinks were good, especially the frappes. The hot drinks didn’t stay warm long, and the foam art was… well, they tried.

Service was fine, not memorable. We were seated at a folding table, probably because we were a big group. Live music was a nice touch, but sitting right next to the singer made conversation hard.

Parking was tricky—narrow one-lane entrance and limited space. They had to turn one of our cars away. Bathrooms were clean, though the water tank was slow to refill.

Un lugar muy bonito a la vista. Tiene un diseño que te hace sentir cómodo en tu estadía. Sus costos son accesibles para el bolsillo, Si vas en un día muy concurrido puede que el servicio llegue a ser un poco tardado, pero sin duda vale la pena la espera. Cuentan con estacionamiento gratuito lo que hace que te sientas cómodo y disfrutes de tus alimentos y no preocuparte por donde dejaste tu vehiculo.
