Have spent time in Mexico City and Oaxaca City, and have eaten some incredible food at some fancy restaurants. However this restaurant’s food is the best we have eaten by FAR. Yes it’s a rustic setting, and it isn’t fancy, but it is so authentic, and most importantly, so delicious. The owners and staff are just the loveliest people, and nothing is too much. We got a pollo tinga, and the pollo enchiladas with Mole Negro (better mole in my opinion than ANY we tried in Oaxaca (we tried a lot!) - it started sweet and smokey and rich, and ended with gentle spice - so perfect. We ate the first order of enchiladas and loved them so much we ordered a second portion. Left absolutely stuffed, but so worth it. Gracias por todo Comedor Conchita’s

Freshly made tortillas, excellent mole, friendly service and authentic roadside Mexican culinary experience. They have options to add squash flowers to entrees which is common to the region and very delicious. Some of the best mole I've had so far! Large tables for big parties. Lots of bottled beverage choices. 100% would go back!

Authentic Oaxacan food. Yes it's a dirt floor restaurant, with a dog, chickens and an outdoor bathroom, welcome to Mexico, get in with the locals and have the best time ever! We ate here 3 times during our 4 day weekend in Teotilan and we live in Oaxaca full time! The food is that good!

A simple, tasty and centrally-located Comidor, perfect for lunch. A broad sampling of Oaxacan food is offered. A menu advisor on the wall helps English speakers understand what different things on the menu are. Food is muy rico and fresh. The family is cooking away in the open kitchen. You need to be comfortable with things like hard packed dirt floor and basic bathroom facilities. We only have sampled a few items, but we can say that the enchiladas with red mole sauce are...
