The server was very nice. The food was bland. I had seen good reviews of Los Olivos Restaurant at Hotel Olivos, and then found this restaurant on the Hotel Olivos website. Maybe the restaurant changed its name because the owner or management changed. I would not recommend this retaurant at all. I ordered something Italian that was 3 crepes filled with corn and some non-spicy green peppers inside it covered in tomato sauce. The corn was slightly bitter, but I have noticed that before with the corn I've had here in Oaxaca, so that may be no fault of the restaurant. The tomato sauce was bland. I have had far better sauce from a jar. The entree came with a small side of refried beans, 3 tortilla chips, and some white Italian bread and butter. If I were grading this restaurant in the U.S., I'd give it a one-star rating. I'm raising it here because the standards in Oaxaca aren't what they are in the U.S. I've been to a few vegetarian and vegan restaurants here in the past three days, and the one that I like most is Los Muchitos. I have not reviewed that one yet but wanted to warn you all about La Verde Aceituna.
