We were a group of seven, with a reservation, arrived at 5:45. No servers came, or were even present, so after 30 minutes we went to the bar and got our own drinks. Our food order was finally taken an hour after arriving. We were told they were out of pizza already, even though we saw boxes of pizza going out for delivery, so we ordered entrees. For the next two hours we waited and waited and waited for food. We asked several times about our order and were apologized to over and over again. At 9:00 we left without ever getting our food. Read moreWhat a great little spot on the east end of Progreso, near the edge of Chixalub. There is indoor dining & bar with a lovely patio, including a pool. We both had pizzas made in their brick pizza oven. 🍕 delicious! We had a lovely conversation with David, the owner who greeted us and was eager to hear about how & why we had discovered Progreso. And invited us back for Friday night live music 🎶 The patio has wonderful and beautiful, big trees, but also some mosquitoes, so maybe pre-plan with bug spray 🦟 The patio could also use a few fans, in my opinion 😉 Would definitely recommend....
Read moreI think we got here a bit early for dinner. The pizza oven either wasn't working or wasn't heated up yet. They didn't tell us this when we ordered pizza and they used a regular oven. We were disappointed by that as we had read how good the pizza was. It was still good, just not what we had expected. We sat in the garden out back which is a great spot.
