Church's Texas Chicken — Restaurant in Querétaro

Who would have thought there would be a Church’s chicken in Queretaro? Certainly not me, but the food and service are top notch. From the public hand wash station, contactless temperature reading, to the constant disinfecting of the dining area; I felt completely safe in eating there. The staff is efficient and the food tastes just like it does in the States.

Knowing a little Spanish is helpful, but not fatally necessary. Restaurant only accepts pesos, so make sure to stop by an cajero (ATM) or money exchange (cambio) first!

This restaurant prints the codes for male/female bathrooms at the bottom of the receipt so don’t throw it away! Also they have free wifi with the contraseña (password) on a sign by the cashiers. Great speed!

They allow 2 free refills on drinks before charging. Also there is a cost for extra condiments, at the time of this writing the cost is 10...

This was an exercise in revisiting a taste of my way past youth. In Vancouver, Church's was next to my church, and the place to sneak out of service to discover the other "sinners". Gloria's dad? And smoking cigarettes!? In my later youth, as a homeless person, I was allowed to stay, along with Wind and Willow, in the basement of an eastern, vegetarian cult. One day, I managed to come into a couple of bucks (dollars in case the vernacular eludes you) and rushed down the hill to gorge on Church's greasy goodness, resulting in my expulsion from said cult's domicile! And so, with many memories, I entered my first Church's in many a decade. Where do they get such meatless chickens? Are they selling the meat then breading the bones? Two stars? One for cleanliness, and two for the same old greasy good batter that made...

El pollo es rico por lo mismo tenemos mucho tiempo comprando directo en sucursal o en servicio a auto, también hemos pedido muchas veces por teléfono servicio a domicilio y mi experiencia nunca ha Sido satisfactoria en cuanto servicio, el personal no es amable ni en cajas, ni en servicio en auto, ni por teléfono o más bien menos por teléfono, en verdad los empleados son cero amables. Hemos pedido a domicilio las últimas dos veces y uno de los servicios llegó incompleto, lo reportamos y lo reconocieron sin embargo nos dijeron que lo faltante lo mandarían hasta el otro día por qué el repartidor salía en 40 minutos y había aún pedidos pendientes!! Después de alegar y exigir que ese día completarán el servicio quedaron que en una hora llegarían .....llegaron casi tres horas después y el repartidor bastante grosero me dijo que yo lo estaba haciendo trabajar horas extras. El siguiente pedido el repartidor un poco sarcástico, casi como si nosotros como clientes hubiéramos estado vetados por el pedido anterior me exigió revisar frente a él el pedido. Y hoy que quisimos hacer pedido de nuevo nos dicen que no llegan hasta acá por políticas ya que salimos de su perímetro por medio kilómetro. En si me parece que todo el equipo les falla el sentido de servicio. Esto es en la única sucursal de Querétaro que está en avenida 5 de febrero...
