Good food. Had Breakfast and Dinner here. Breakfast - had various items: Mexican Chilaquiles, Omelette with Mexican fillings (Chaya leaf, Cactus) & then regular continental items like muffins, cinnamon buns, fruit, juices and granola-yoghurt. Dinner - guacamole as an appetizer, had grilled fish tacos, fried Octopus tacos (DELICIOUS!) and various desserts (Flan, Cheesecake & brownie-icecream). All were very good without being great. I wanted to give 5 stars but for a couple of things. 1. Service. For both meals we asked for something to be brought out first (for dinner - guacamole; for breakfast - fruit), once asked in Spanish and once asked in English. Both times they just bought everything all out at once. For dinner in fact, they put the guacamole appetizer down after they had placed the main dishes down. 2. The Mexican food. Feel it could have been a touch spicier. The Chilaquiles for Breakfast were a bit bland. Almost as if they had held back on making stuff too picante to accommodate the European tourists. Though all in all, very...

We ate at this restaurant several times while staying at the hotel. The food and service were generally very good, but there were two specific things that bothered me. As far as the service, the waiters would disappear if the restaurant wasn't real busy. This happened several times in the afternoon or early evening. If we wanted to order dessert, a drink, or ask for the check, five or so minutes would pass without anyone in sight. This was frustrating and shouldn't happen in a quality restaurant. My other complaint is some of the entrees were not prepared as described on the menu. I noticed this three times. I make a decision on what to order based on the menu description and it's disappointing when it's obvious that the food is not as described. This is not an inexpensive restaurant, they need to improve the service and stay true...

Our group had the great honor of dining at Los Hechizos for six days during our gathering at Racho Encantado and our experience was exceptional. The head chef Ivan is a world renowned chef and a very kind soul who came to mingle and ask how the food was each day. The staff was very kind and generous and the atmosphere of the restaurant couldn't be any more beautiful sitting right on the laguna. The staff worked with our requests months in advance to accommodate our needs and were kind and flexible with everything the entire stay. We recommend everyone come and enjoy the exceptional food at...

Very nice place if you want to relax. The food is very good, the hotel is perfectly located, the Lagun is amazing, the room are huge, quiet & clean, we also had a Jacuzzi on our balcony. Wi-Fi does not works in bedrooms and it can be a bit hard to have internet network sometime, but maybe it is better this way as you come here to relax after all.
