Is it worth the drive from Tulum? Get your keys. Best Mole I’ve had in my life—I love mole. The fried whole fish and the Gordita were balanced, interesting, delightful, surprising. We will be back to try the rest of the menu. The location is delightful and the service friendly and professional while remaining informal and family-based. They even have beer, only thing I can’t find is a way to give more than 5 stars.

If you’re looking for authentic, homemade food, Mi Mexico is where you need to visit. For anyone staying in Tulum, it’s worth the drive and gets you away from the busy streets into a relaxing atmosphere. Our family of 6 (with picky eaters) made the drive from Tulum TWICE. Food was DELICIOUS AND FRESHLY cooked and everyone was so kind. A bonus: during the drive, you’ll find many artesianal shops nearby

Mi México is a roadside gem that's always a delight! Every time I stop in, I'm treated to delicious food that never disappoints. Their made-to-order agua fresca is a highlight, and the emboladas with rich mole are a must-try. Another favorite of mine is their quesadillas de huitlacoche - truly authentic and mouthwatering. Don't hesitate to pull over and give them a try - you won't regret it.
