La Cocina del Pueblo — Restaurant in Quintana Roo

I came here with my family as a first stop in the park area to eat something right when they opened for business. We were seated by the front sidewalk area. We were able to see the park personnel training one of the birds that decided not to cooperate with the handler and fly into an adjacent tree. This was our entertainment for our lunch time meal here. We sampled everything the restaurant had to offer. The meals seemed to be more in line with a cafeteria, but the food was hot and random. The selections were enough to give the kids a variety of options to try to see if something was a fit for what they wanted to eat. We all found something that we each liked to eat and further enjoyed the bird...

It's a buffet set up to move people through pretty quickly. The food is fine, but it's not set up well to know where to find different options and the service (drinks)...
