I grabbed an early dinner. The restaurant looks like a regular place. Not fancy, not too busy, definitely a family place, and pretty great for large groups, could be a little cleaner (attention to seats could be improved), and was a bit loud due to the mariachi band (I do like them, but in a closed room, my ears are quite sensitive to the loudness). The food was delicious. Sometimes, good meat can be difficult to come by, but a good chef knows how to soften it, a good chef knows how to maintain the juices, and a great chef knows how to lock in the flavor. The pork was a bit too dry (but remember it's diffult to not dry out because it has to be well cooked; and I've rarely had juicy and well cooked pork), and the fillet mignon was a little too red for me(doesn't mean it wasn't soft and juicy), but both were very tasty. The beef sirloin, sausages, beef ribs, marinated beef, and other meats were quite tasty. This place is actually one of the best Churrascarias I have been to, and it may have been just this occasion, but the food here wasn't the only reason for the high value this place provides. Here's what did it for me. I was brought the meats, all the meats, by multiple waiters, 3-4 at a time, in 3-4 minute waves, they were coming to my table and I was quickly getting all the meats I wanted, and some older ones I had not had since my days in Field Service travelling the world. I was literally overwhelmed by all the meats. I even forgot all of what I had from just accepting what looked good, because I had too many. I was satisfied, and this is what defeated me. I was done, and the meats, looking even better than the last were still coming to my table. On one occasion, I even requested they bring the meat back over after already having said "no thanks", and the waiter kindly obliged and came right back. The meat just looked that good. I go to the Churrascarias because of the meats, especially the beef. This place met and satiated that reason. I feel somewhat sad I just found this place and am already leaving town for a while. The restroom was clean and well maintained. The salad, fruit, hot side and dessert buffet was satisfying, but could be improved; Not of great concern, since I came for the protein. Parking was available, but if this place gets visitors like me, I would recommend an Uber, because parking may become diffult to find. I can't help but believe that I had a great experience mostly due to the waiter. This person was attending about ~5 tables simultaneously, and was aware of their needs at all times. Constantly looking up and scanning his tables and making sure the customers were well taken care of. I tried not to overwhelm him, but I am sure this type of service may become diffult on their busy days. If you visit, I hope you experience the same great...
Read moreThe worst service I have had in a restaurant in The Last 5 Years. I had to wave my arms to get the check and eventually I just got up and asked for it. The guy was more concerned about me wearing my mask at all times then service. And not that I'm against wearing a mask but Jesus Christ serve the food first guys. I felt ignored. I purposely moved a bottle of wine off the table because I don't drink, he insisted on it being on the table, carried it across and put it on the food bar cuz I don't want alcohol on my freaking table. The food was not bad oh, Buffet salads were kind of bland but the meat was okay. I think there are probably better choices in San...
