La Cantina Precopeo y Restaurante — Restaurant in San Luis Potosí

This is a loud bar with good food. They have an English menu. Not sure the time this offer exists is, but it was two for one (2x1) beers at 6:30 pm. An attractive woman came in and sang karaoke while strolling from table to table. They have private security people working there. I imagine the place can get rowdy, but I think they close at 8 PM, based on what I think I interpreted on the wall, and the word precopeo (pre-drinking) in the name of the place. We both had the individual Mar y Tierre Molcajete (surf and turf). Arrachera, shrimp, cactus, avacado and cheese. The guacamole was also tasty. Glad we went after working in a nearby plant. They do not split the bill. They did accept Visa.

I had a terrible experience in this restaurant. They have a promotion to give a bottle of an alcoholic beverage in birthday celebrations with 4 or more people. What they don’t tell you, is that they will do everything they can not to give you anything. Firstly they didn’t accept a foreign identification document, and we had to go back to the hotel to get the passport. Then, with passport in hands they said it was necessary to buy at least 8 soft drinks to earn the bottle. After some discussion, we agreed to buy the soft drinks, but then they said it was necessary to take copies of the passport… Every time a new problem… Besides that the food and the service...

En días pasados asistí con mi familia a celebrar un cumpleaños. Yo nunca había visitado el establecimiento y desde la entrada da la vibra de que no es un buen lugar. En fin, continuamos con la velada y amablemente nos ofrecieron una mesa, hasta ahí todo bien. Cuando el mesero que nos atendió se acercó nos ofreció la carta y el menú es por demás ¡horrible! Posteriormente el mesero tomó nuestro pedido y demoraron alrededor de 45 minutos en llegar con la comida, cabe mencionar que era lunes y era demasiada poca gente la que había, no entendí por qué demoraron tanto tiempo. A esta hora de nuestra reunión ya sabía que no podía esperar mucho del lugar ni del servicio pero al ver mi comida servida la sorpresa fue tremenda; mal preparada, mal sabor, malísima presentación y por si fuera poco, enfermé. 🤮 Tratando de sobrellevar el ya evidente mal rato decidimos continuar, y recuerdo, estábamos festejando un cumpleaños en familia. Pues todavía tuvimos la osadía de pedir una rebanada de pastel y que si podían poner 'Las Mañanitas' a lo que todo el equipo de meseros respondió con un show bastante barato y deplorable; comenzó a sonar otra canción, que no eran 'Las Mañanitas' y ese show horrible termino con la cara del cumpleañero metida en la rebana de pastel, todo esto orquestado por los meseros quienes al ver nuestra cara estupefacta simplemente se dieron la vuelta y se fueron. Esto ya era inconcebible. Decidimos pedir la cuenta y marcharnos. De nuestra parte nunca tuvimos un mal gesto o mal trato al personal y creo que ese tipo de acciones como meterte con el cuerpo de otra persona sin aviso previo de cómo funciona su dinámica de pastel de cumpleaños es una gran falta de respeto a la persona y a su condición de cliente.
