The service was good, but the food was too slow to come to the table. The bathroom was very clean. It felt like they had a lot of waiters and not enough cooks. It makes sense if their goal is to sell more alcohol than food.
By local standards, the food was only average at best, which my group found very disappointing. Prices are higher than average for what you get and would only make sense if you go there when they have live music. Otherwise, it's overpriced.
I found the salsa on the "enamorados" octopus and shrimp dish very disappointing. It tasted like a blend of bottled sauce with some ground dried peppers. Lazy and uninspired compared to other restaurants that make amazing sauces from scratch.
If your goal is to drink and listen to live band music and you go when there is live music, you'll probably like it. However, if your goal is to have a meal that surprises and excites your taste buds, then there are many other local restaurants with significantly better food without the "live music premium pricing".

The portions are huge so I would suggest ordering 1-2 dishes for smaller parties to share. They give out a complimentary shrimp soup which was full of flavor, perfect little appetizer to open up your appetite.
If you’re also there to celebrate a birthday they would bring out special party tricks 😂🎉 (it was fun)

Read moreThe food was very good and the portions were ample. The service was excellent. Daniel, our waiter was fantastic. Helpful, noticed things without needing to be asked, attentive and kind. They do have English menus, on request. My only complaint was the band. They were way too loud even in the parking lot. The lead singer could not stay in in tune. The balance was way off with the vocals drowning out the music even a pretty good horn section. We ordered the guacamole, which had great flavor and came with sea food. For dinner we ate the shrimp. Huge shrimp...
