Restaurant Bellmar — Restaurant in Sinaloa

Wife and I are staying in the middle of the Malecon for a month. Restaurants nearby but when we want something quickly, with good service and fresh food, this has been the place we come to the most.

All the staff are very friendly, they deal with my poor Spanish skills (but I'm learning) and they speak good enough English to make ordering easy. Have now eaten here probably 3-4 times and every time the food has been good, the beer is served with a cold glass, and the shrimp has been very fresh and the carne asada flavorful.

It's not a super fancy place but the view, cool breeze on the patio, good food, and the cold beer have been great! Oh, and it's felize hora (happy hour) most of the day which means your drinks are two for the price of one. Price is about $10...

WARNING--CHECK YOUR CHANGE --had breakfast this morning -paid the tab with 200 peso bill --when i counted the change i was 30 pesos short - i asked the waiter t bring the bill back to me --he went to the cashier and got the bill and on the way back to my table he reached in to his pocket and took out the 30 pesos and gave it to me with the bill --he said the cashier made a mistake . this guy is not only a thief he is also a liar . -----will not go back-- breakfast is not very good and 35 peso coffee is...

The food was very good but the service was really bad. No one came to our table for 15 minutes and when he came (Gustavo) he had a bad attitude. When we told him that we were hungry he told us that was our fault for coming late. After never coming to our table he charged us a tip and when we asked about it he started arguing with us again saying the whole experience was our fault.
