Wife and I are staying in the middle of the Malecon for a month. Restaurants nearby but when we want something quickly, with good service and fresh food, this has been the place we come to the most.
All the staff are very friendly, they deal with my poor Spanish skills (but I'm learning) and they speak good enough English to make ordering easy. Have now eaten here probably 3-4 times and every time the food has been good, the beer is served with a cold glass, and the shrimp has been very fresh and the carne asada flavorful.
It's not a super fancy place but the view, cool breeze on the patio, good food, and the cold beer have been great! Oh, and it's felize hora (happy hour) most of the day which means your drinks are two for the price of one. Price is about $10...
