Tequilita restaurant
This was our first time to this restaurant. It’s a short taxi ride from Pueblo Bonito Emerald Bay. Great food! The restaurant atmosphere reflects a lot of the Mazatlán experience. It’s an open air restaurant with a thatch roof. Very quaint and authentic. It’s a very relaxed and laid back atmosphere. The staff was very attentive and personable. The Mexican Sampler Platter was very good and offered a good variety of foods. Very filling. One person in our party had the seafood soup as an appetizer but it turned out to be a meal into itself. It had a huge amount of crab and shrimp. The shrimp fajitas were excellent. The only down side, which really is outside the restaurant’s control, was a foul aroma which occasionally would drift through the restaurant. Not sure if this was a one time event or a regular event. Will be able to judge better next...

Read moreWe went here ti break food monotony in Riu Emerald. We ordered the “Mariscado” this is the mixed seafood platter. I should say the taste is not much of a difference from the food in buffet at the resort. Though you will not get the whole fried grouper fish in the hotel buffet. Service is ok because we are the only customer at that time. The most disappointing one is the cost of their Tequila.. I have read in the review here how expensive their tequila. For some reason my husband still insisting on buying 2 bottles there. Their tequila the mango and passion fruit flavour worth $59 usd each. When we check it out in airport duty free the price of Patron Tequila ranges from $35-45 usd same...
