Ok, I review many restaurants around the world, and I am not one to throw around 1 star reviews, but I had to give this place 1 star. Place is huge! It’s a popular place. They are pumping food out in volume. We sat down, got the starter chips and salsa in 20+ minutes. Drinks came 30 minutes!!! You are forced to buy 2x1 drinks per person, no sharing…it’s obvious they want you to get drunk to have fun. My mai tias (first mistake) was just juice, didn’t even drink them. We complained, they came by and poured a bunch of cheap tequila in them, huh? So gross. Food came an hr later. Cold, salty. Our steak was tough and over cooked. Breaded fish looked like it came from the freezer. Fish tacos were small and hard. I’ve never seen worse food. Now…don’t get me wrong, this is a great party spot for drunk ex pats 60 and older, but for food, it’s as bad as it gets. For a seafood spot, this place should be ashamed for what they are serving! Also, one post called this place authentic? It’s the furthest from that! It’s an ex pat party hub, furthest thing from a true authentic Mexican...
Read moreAbsolutely the worst meal I've experienced in Mazatlan in over 20 years. My medium rare rib eye steak was neither a rib eye or medium rare. 1/4 inch thick steak well over cooked for even well done. All 3 baked potatoes at the table were next to raw with a blob of cold cheese on top. When I pointed out the error in steak and potatoes to Mr. LIONSO I got a shoulder shrug and then received a potatoe that was even more undercooked than the first one. The lobster, I was told by a fellow diner was tasteless and aweful. The garlic fish was okay. The server was not in the least pleasant and refused to address the problem with the mistakes in orders. He complained the music was to loud for him to hear us. They had the odacity to charge full price for my "ribeye steak dinner" f First time ever that we did not leave a tip. Our usual is 20%for even mediocre service. Done with this place...
Read moreHorrible, you have to be a FLY HUNTER, they won't leave alone. Food presentation was nothing like the pictures. The lady manager was our server, she was slamming the plates and silverware on the table. Super rude around 9 AM, THE PLACE WAS EMPTY. We hardly touch the food I asked for the check and it was about $20, no problem I just want it get out of there, as I was leaving I want it to use the restroom a lady came running and stop me, she said where is your table and I explained that I was leaving and show her my receipt which was a minute old. She said no you don't have a table anymore you have to pay 10 pesos to use the bathroom. This is clearly a place that abuses the tourist, don't eat here it will not be a good experience. This is the restaurant with access to the beach, the only one there. Right on the Blvd there are so many good restaurants with amazing food and...
