This place was probably the best food we had in our entire visit to Mazatlan. They give you tostadas with a super fresh pico to start when you order the zarandeado, really nice touch especially considering that grilled fish takes quite some time to cook.

The fish was really fresh and the flavors are rich and outstanding. Great sides, including the legendary salsa, come with the fish and the prices are really good.

It is a shame i have to take a star away for the atmosphere. This place is literally on the beach with a beautiful background. Unfortunately the invite every begger, beach vendor and musician in here. During our meal we were harassed by several homeless people who either asked for money or repeatedly tried to sell us junk. The musicians ranged from some pleasant, quiet guys, to a group who set up a massive speaker right next to our table and blasted their awful music so loud we couldnt talk to eachother until they left. All of them expect tips and awkwardly stand around waiting for you to pay them even if the music...

We were recommended this beach-based wobbly shack by locals, the best way to locate treasures. The "zarandeado" version of the local red snapper was among the most delicious and exquisitely presented fish dishes we ever had the fortune to enjoy. It was a 1.8 kg fish when we were shown the fish still intact. So we cancelled our second main dish and entrees, but ordered several Pacifico beers. This fish delicacy involves a number if spices and sauces, and wrapping the secret formula into aluminum foil for grilling on a charcoal fire. The large platter comes with salsa mexicana picada and fresh salad. The filet separates easily from the bones, and is just right, juicy but firm. For some the local live music may exceed their decibel tolerance, in which case you opt for a table back on the second tier. The experience is completed watching the other customers likewise enjoy their sumptious seafood meals. Highly...

The food was okay. It is the first time I tried Sinaloa style, so I was not quite sure what to expect. However, service was lacking. We were not told that the wait for a pescado zarandeado was almost an hour. Given the choice, I would have ordered something different. I understand when there's a long longer or not enough staff. That's fine, just let people know so an informed choice can be made. Also, at the end we were given the wrong check. I would advice you to ask on the wait...

Great, fresh ceviche and cold beers right on the beach. I highly recommend this place to tourists with the following caveats: 1) If you don’t want fish, go somewhere else. They only serve fish and it’s phenomenally good. 2) When we were there, no one spoke English. Take a translator, take Google Translate or take your chances like we did. Just know this in advance. 3) The only alcohol available is beer; and only 3 types. So, if you NEED a Margarita, you should try someplace else.

Easily the best seafood restaurant in malecón Mazatlán, the food was amazing, from fish, shrimp and octopus, everything every bite was fenomenal. And the view of the ocean too, that scenery was beautiful. I do recommend coming here earlier if you want to grab lunch, because it does get very crowded and since the restaurant isn't that big, there aren't many seats available. We did waited a bit long for a table for 4, but it was truly worthed. I would definitely come back.
