Horrible service! Took forever for a waiter to serve us. First wanted us to order food before the drinks. We finally got our drinks and we ordered appetizers and our food and the appetizer arrived at the same time. I ordered an oyster Rockefeller and the cheese was watery. Not broiled like it suppose to be. My lady ordered shrimp triologia and the shrimp was bland. We also ordered pescado zarandeado and fish was dry and bland. Food was also way overpriced! Nothing that made it stand out. Kids running around our table and one almost got hit by a car. The only good thing about this place, was that I ordered a whole fish and it had a good taste/seasoning. Besides that, it's only reason I'm giving them a one star. Oh, did I mentioned, serviced sucked!? If you want good mariscos, I highly recommend "restaurante panchos" it will not disappoint in food, taste, or service! Best place for mariscos hands down!

Greetings once again from the shrimp capital of the Pacific Ocean. El Torito is one of the city's favorite restaurants, and it's easy to see why. With a broad range of choices to choose from, including their signature seafood dishes along with the traditional Mexican cuisine, any choice is a winner. On this visit, I chose the Arrachera carñe asada plate, and Pippa, my girlfriend, chose a fresh tuna ceviche with mango. Both were excellent because the seafood in this city is as fresh as any place on earth. The beef in Mexico is better than most countries because of the proximity to the ranches that supply the local businesses. Making the meat fresher and less processed. Resulting in better tasting and more tender dishes. If you don't believe me, come on down and try it yourself, friends. I gotta get busy eating!

Presentation, service, and atmosphere was great. Open air, plenty of fans, large portions, fresh fish, and good spicy sauces on the side. They were on top of things and looked like lead server/management was detail oriented. I really enjoyed our experience here and would definitely go again. Pictured is the tuna ceviche and fried shrimp.

First of all, my tostada came before our drinks. Then our caguama of Pacifico with Warm mugs- not room temp but straight out of the dishwasher. When we asked for cold mugs, he took them, but the ones he came back with weren’t cold. No apology- fairly certain he tried to cool them down swishing around ice, there was water inside. Then came my husband’s entree. We cancelled our appetizer as it still hadn’t come, but they brought it right after. Service was really unacceptable and the ceviches weren’t marinated enough to get any flavor. Such a shame as we live a few blocks away. ...
