I'm rating this five stars because of the amazing owner and his family he was the most friendly came and talked to us for a long time. The location is perfect The staff is super friendly. However I'm really sad to say we had the worst coconut shrimp we have ever had even in America. It was hard and chewy and flat and overdone and every way possible Was not fresh. The drinks were good DESSERT AMAZING.. However I love punta Cerritos the vibrant locals friendly people the little shop owners and a beautiful ocean lookout . the light is beautiful there

I don't like Zone Dorada because of all the crazy tourists and Canadians that treat the staff horribly that always bothers me I am American but yet I know how to order in Spanish( very little Spanish, but MY GOSH it's easy to order food and say PLEASE AND THANK YOU)

THESE rude people are the ones that DEMAND that Spanish speaking people. SPEAK ENGLISH IN THE USA.!!! I'm in Mexico and it's the right thing to do however other people seem to think they can just shout...

Roy's is too small for the crowd it draws ... it's that good!! The menu is diverse with lots of favored comfort foods and a decent bar. Add to that a weekly schedule of evening meal specials that'll "knock your socks off" both on flavor and price to value basis.

If you like fresh fish, don't miss the Friday evening all-you-can-eat fish fry. This is real fresh fish (red snapper, sea bass, mahi mahi, etc.) for $129 pesos/person, served 5-8pm to a packed house ... make your reservation early.

They're 5 stars cause the food is terrific and most of the time the service is, too. Friday's fish fry gives the staff a workout I wouldn't wish on the best Olympic runner, and they still do a commendable job at holding up their end of the deal!

I had the coconut and almond encrusted mahi mahi and it was fantastic! I am a seafood lover and this was one of the best fish dishes I have eaten. Also enjoyed my wife's cheese quesadilla. Perfect tortillas and just the right amount of cheese another in our party had a rack of ribs that hung off his plate...enough for 2. Tried one rib, again amazing. Prices are very reasonable and the staff are awsome. This is a very small restaurant so if you want to stop buy on one of the nights they have steak or rib specials call ahead because you will probably need to make a reservation otherwise plan an early dinner....
