Brahman steak & house — Restaurant in Sonora

A fantastic dinner so delicious and so reasonably priced for fine dining. The tuna appetizer was so flavorful and awakened our tastebuds to really enjoy the main course. We got the house Merlot which was a fantastic choice to our meal. We got the Brahmin salad, which was light and paired well with the main dish. For our main the potatoes were seasoned so splendidly. The steak was brazed tableside to give the nice finishing touches to the meat and vegetables. This is 5 star experience and taste! We finished with the buñuelos which although different than what we’ve had for this, was dusted with powdered cinnamon and sugar with vanilla ice cream that literally couldn’t stop until it was gone.

My S/O and I went here for our anniversary and the customer service from all employees was absolutely spectacular. We had 5-Star service from the moment we entered until we left. The food was delicious, however the meat was a little more fatty than desired. We gave them a 20% tip and then they gave us a shot on the house to celebrate. The owner and his family were so lovely, the bartender loves and has mastered his craft, and this restaurant was the best part of our visit to Puerto Peñasco. If you are staying at any of the beachfront resorts, I highly recommend this place for any and all occasions. If I could give it 10...

This restaurant is so close to being what it aspires to be but it falls short on several points. The food is great, innovative and well presented. The timing on the delivery of our meal was not great. The baked potato came out when we were almost finished with dinner. We had to ask twice for bread to go with the marrow bones. The staff is not familiar with the food. In fact, the staff seems intimidated by the diners. The owner was there but she stayed in the corner and didn't talk to her patrons.
