J Y R Coffee — Restaurant in Sonora

This is becoming a favorite place to eat. It serves breakfast and lunch. Excellent food, excellent portions, excellent prices, excellent service! Beautifully decorated, great atmosphere with calming music playing softly. One of the waitresses even knows how to play "Las Mañanitas " on the violin. So far everything I've tried tastes delicious. We will return to try more dishes! We had Omelette Poblano, Agua de piña pepino, waffles con fruta, Moka Helada. Posted pictures already. One of my favorite things here is actually the seasoned potatoes they serve along with the omelettes, but then I've been a "potato" person all my life, being German. But EVERYTHING I have eaten here has been extremely delicious...

This breakfast spot is just alright. I’m not gonna lie, it’s not bad, but it’s not great either.

The portions are big. I got the chilaquiles, and while the plate looked impressive, most of it was just tortilla. A mountain of chips with an okay amount of chicken. It filled me up, but not in the best way.

My boys got waffles and pancakes. The pancakes were decent, but the waffle was kind of dry in my opinion.

Service was actually really good. No complaints there. But it was a little pricey. We spent about 70 bucks. The same amount I would have spent at IHOP, and honestly I might have been more satisfied there.

Great food and service, however when a business only accepts cash and the going rate is 16/1 conversion for cash and you are given 12/1 this is not a business I will return to. Lesson learned. I was referred to go, I tried it and will give it that the food did not disappoint but being overcharged is not ok.
