I was excited to find a restaurant that explicitly labeled their menu with vegetarian options and had a dedicated vegan menu. Also clearly labeled gluten free items. That being said, items we ordered were not quite as expected. For example, the “beet ravioli” was actually sliced beets with a cream cheese in the middle. No pasta. It was still decent. My vegan tacos were fajita tacos - which was quite good but I was hoping for a protein like tofu. Would return.

This was a wonderful experience that was a bit of a surprise. We went for their valentine's day special. Come to find out, they had a full time good-sized vegan menu, and their vegan cheesecake was one of the best vegan desserts we have had. It was creamy, but airy; rich, but balanced; and just the right amount of sweet to satiate, but not over power. The vegan pizza was very tasty, and their salad had a unique twist with the delivery being in a cucumber.

Estética y ambientalmente el lugar es muy bonito, pero si hablamos por el lado de la comida es ahí donde llegamos a los detalles. Para comenzar las opciones de platillos fuertes son muy pocas en comparación con otros lugares, además que la variación de proteínas es mínima pollo, atún y res. Por otro lado al momento de probar las carnes tuvimos la desgracia que estas estaban sobrecocidas, el pollo estaba un poco seco por fuera y el atún era literal un chicle en la boca, tardabas demasiado en masticarlo. Las verduras como guarniciones eran muy simples, fritas o al vapor. Por el lado de las entradas la tabla de quesos no pareciera una tabla de quesos, las frutas predominaban sobre lo principal que en este caso es la variedad de quesos. Las bolitas de carne rellenas de queso motzarella en una cama de tomate dulce fue lo que más predominó ya que los sabores eran muy buenos y balanceados, solo que como aditivo al platillo estaría bien que se agregara algún pan tostado con hierbas y aceite de oliva para que tenga una textura extra. Las bebidas si estaban ricas, el único problema fue que los mojitos al parecer los hicieron con jarabe dulce cuando generalmente se deben hacer con azúcar en grano. Para finalizar, el menú es un poco estorboso para el manejo, algo ligero sería más agradable para las manos de los comensales.

One of the best restaurants in San Carlos, SON, MX. I had a fennel, pumpkin and walnut soup. I'm a soup aficionado, so I'll try just about any soup. It was interesting, but I wouldn't order again. On the other hand their "humming bird" soup is outstanding, half squash and half beet side by side in the same bowl with crema decorating the top. My lady had a chicken dish covered with a cream sauce of mushrooms and bacon accompanied by a generous serving of fresh green beans, outstanding. She doesn't eat a lot, so in ordering the soup I knew I'd get at least half her supper which I thoroughly enjoyed. This place is amazing!! My friends and I came down for the weekend and we stopped here after we saw the pride flag! 🌈 We knew we would be welcomed right away. To say the food was great is an understatement. The place itself was so welcoming! The owner Alex is extremely proud of what he’s created and friendly. And he speaks English fluent as well as Spanish! They sell local art and have it displayed all around the restaurant. The owner offered us Margs and they were soooo good!! We dropped by to order and take out 3 pizzas. I was specific about the order but one of the three was completely wrong. The pizzas that we did get took quite a while since the mesquite-fired oven wasn’t up to temperature. Then I saw one stick to the oven so badly the cooks scraped the whole mess onto another dough round and cook it again! No bueno. The overall taste of the pizzas was a bit lackluster.
