Jax Snax Restaurant — Restaurant in Sonora

I ordered a pepsi and a burger. Aside from a large group who were served, i was the only other customer. I did not tip. I tip after i receive service. My drink arrives, its a 7Up. I tell the person Pepsi. She leaves and 10 minutes later i ask if i can get my drink. I did. 25 minutes after ordering I ask how much longer. They bring the burger and fries, but fries are cold. He takes the fries and I'm eating my burger. Fries arrive 5 minutes later. Now, I'm not compelled to leave a tip. No service really. But, they got me: I got the worse case of food poisoning ever!...

I have been to Jax Snax a few times before. Food is not delicious but OK. I usually don't expect much fast food restaurants like this and I tend to be very understanding when a restaurant is busy. Today I really did experience one of the worst customer service experiences ever!!! I have had better customer service at a tire shop on the side of the road at 3:00am lol. Any other place on the main road in San Carlos will be a better choice.

Safe choice. Inconsistent service. Family friendly. (Means very loud with kids and their screams echo here).

Update: visit in 2025 Very slow service on a slow Monday night. Club sandwich took 30 minutes to arrive at the table. Recommend you get a pizza here, that was reasonable speed. They have two kitchens: 1) pizza kitchen, fast. 2) the other stuff kitchen, slow.

Update: visit in 2024 Mucho parking in the back. Jax Sonora is their signature burger and recommended. Pizza was well-done with...
