We have been here a few times previously & always really enjoyed our visit, food, drinks & service had always been wonderful which is why we chose to spend our anniversary dinner here along with other people who joined us on this trip. Since we had a group of 12 people total for this special occasion we booked a reservation as to ensure that they were prepared for our large group. We arrived for our reservation only to be told that due to a large group that arrived prior to us for a baby shower celebration that we were looking at aprox 45 minutes before any food orders could be served- this really should have been mentioned at time of booking our reservation but no problem we understood & proceeded to get our drink & meal orders in so that they had them in advance. Drinks eventually came out over 30 minutes later and half were incorrect as well as served to the wrong people in our group- no biggie we personally re-distributed our drinks amongst ourselves to the right people & advised the waitress that a couple drinks weren’t what was ordered thinking she would take them back and bring the correct drinks. She proceeded to leave them at our table & returned with correct ones 20 minutes later. Ultimately it wasn’t 45 minutes for our food but instead ended up being almost 2 hours later, they brought peoples meals out in pieces i.e. baked potato alone then the steak 20 minutes later, everyone was essentially given the wrong orders which we re-distributed amongst ourselves and everyone received food at very separate times meaning by the time everyone received food over half had already finished eating lol One waiter spilled a hot cup of butter on top of my nieces head and face which actually burned her skin and all that was done was a brief oh sorry. Everyone’s food was horrible, the kitchen had literally diced the shrimp orders and mutilated all steak orders in an attempt to cook them faster so that the staff could leave the kitchen to stand at the bar to watch the boxing match that had just started. A couple of us began feeling ill from the food, one meal was so bad it couldn’t be eaten at all & the waitress offered to remake it but by then we didn’t want to wait even longer for it to be remade so she advised she would make sure to take it & remove it from the bill. Upon receiving our bill nothing had been removed and things that were not ordered or received were added on the bill lol. To make matters worse, they called security to our area in an attempt to intimidate us to pay for the items that had never been ordered or received when we were trying to get them to correct the bill. Idk if this poor service & poor food I quality is the new normal for Diegos or if we simply got stuck with a horrible experience as a result of the staff wanting to stop working that evening so they could catch the big boxing fight on the bar screen buttt sadly this last experience was horrible enough that we don’t wish to return to find out. :( I’m sure our not returning won’t make a difference to this establishment but it’s really a bummer that we had this horrible experience on such a special occasion especially at a place that we previously loved going to after discovering it. I truly hope it was a one off situation so that no one else experiences this & at the very least management should really consider having a discussion with wait & kitchen staff regarding these types of issues when it comes to...

On Dec 19, we started with the coconut shrimp. Excellent. The English breakfast sounded appetizing on the menu. The promise of filet mignon made me ravenous with appetite but unfortunately an order of medium rare turned out to arrive well done. It was like chewing cardboard with no taste whatsoever and the texture left me dismayed. The other steak was also supposed to be medium rare, but turned out well done and tough on the outside, but almost totally raw on the inside. Unfortunate. The chef did make a new one. The two eggs were draped over a slice of sourdough bread were quite lovely in appearance and taste. The first egg was delicious but as I prepared to have the second a fly was skating across the yoke and that ended my appetite for egg. More flies arrived. As for the carrot cake, the presentation was beautiful but looks can be deceiving. The cake itself was dry. Of the entire experience, the shrimp saved the day. The strawberry daiquiri was very good and the refried beans had a nice spicy kick, but not too much. Service was good. The view is of...

A vibrant tiki bar nestled along the stunning coastline of Mexico, framed by palm trees and golden sands. The atmosphere is lively, with colorful and cozy casting a warm glow as the sun sets over the horizon.

The bar features an impressive menu of fancy cocktails, each presented with artistic flair, featuring tropical fruits, elaborate garnishes, and eye-catching glassware. Guests sip on vibrant drinks, like vibrant blue ocean waves, or the classic margarita presented in a coconut shell, adorned with orchids and fresh fruit.

The culinary highlight is undeniably the mouthwatering carne asada—a perfect blend of marinated skirt steak, grilled to perfection with a smoky char. Served alongside homemade guacamole, made from ripe avocados, lime juice, onions, cilantro, and just the right amount of spice, it offers a fresh, creamy contrast to the savory meat.

The combination of stunning ocean views, delectable drinks, and delicious food creates an unforgettable experience at this beachside...

Good view, lots of staff present. Onion Rings not in the menu but should be, best we have had in 10 years! Loved the margarita and pina colada but choice of cerveza not my cup of tea, wasn't beer go to Grapes and Barley! We had hamburgers and fries. Fries Little to seasoned and wilted for me but guys liked theirs. Burger and bun were good. Will try something else and order onion rings again for sure. Missed seeing Christian working last night, he got off at 3pm and we went during happy hour. There was a band, nice old music and glad they took breaks so we all could talk but they did sound good and we could hear them with out any issues.
