Holy Cow! Burger & Beer Joint — Restaurant in Sonora

we have been going to this restaurant since it first opened. It was the best burger joint in HMO. Last year we had a bad experinced when my fife asked for a burger on lettuce. The lettuce had not been washed and had dirt on the leaf! Today we went for lunch. Both asked for burgers well done. Mine was fine. My Wife's was raw in the middle. She sent it back and it took a while for a new one. By the time it came I was finished eating and my wife lost her appetite. I paid the bill bu told the waitress that we really should not have to pay for the bad meal. She went to get a manager. WE waited and gave up. Left the premises. Obviously, there is a problem in the kitchen. This was our go to spot. But...

Atmosphere good spot, great for kids and adults alike. Really love that their is an actual designated area for children. Customer service was stellar. Good communication and attentiveness. Now, the food...overated!! If I am paying extra for the prime cut strained into a burger, I expect more juiciness and quality in taste. The burger me and my friend had was bland, not juicey and lacked any flavor (even basic salt and pepper). Amazing experience, incredible food. The waiters/waitresses are pretty cool and attentive. Price is a little high but it's very well worth it.

(Pictured) Umami burger, on rye bread. Indio dark beer (355ml). Patty was juicy and 100% beef, lightly seasoned so the flavor of the meat is the real star. Green paste is pesto, very nice. Rye bread (which is also nice, since it isn't common) was lightly crispy toasted and fluffy. All ingredients seemed fresh and made from scratch.
