Mariachis & Tequila — Restaurant in Sonora

I know I made a mistake ordering pasta at a Mexican restaurant while the rest of my family ordered traditional Mexican dishes but as I consumed my bolognese shrimp pasta, that took well over 40 minutes to prepare, I noticed inedible ingredients while consuming my food. I assumed they were parts of the shrimp that the chef may have left in but as I unraveled the pieces I noticed they were large chunks of plastic. Service was extremely slow even though we were the only customers until a couple showed up 30 minutes later. Overall I am unsatisfied with the extremely slow service and lack of attention in my meal’s ingredients. But the salsa was well prepared and the other dishes we ordered (the enchilada combination and chimichanga combination) were mediocre as the rice tasted old. Food was Amazing!!!

We enjoyed the service. Unfortunately the Long island was watered down. I don't know how they managed to water down a drink that comes with 4-5 shots of different liquor, but I know my long Islands, and it was horrible. Especially to be in Mexico.

But the food was fantastic. The service was great. The staff got us everything we asked for when we asked. And fixed orders when they got it wrong.

It's unfortunate that the town was buzzing and this place was dead.
