Ryokan Sushi House — Restaurant in Sonora

Very nice place with some little flaws. The first impression is super nice and fancy, the staff welcomes you very well and even gave the girl a rose for Valentine's day! 😍 The menu is full of lovely things to try from sashimi to nigiri sushi or sopa. We tried a lovely entry (tsurai wonton) full of lovely savor to start and continue with three rolls (rainbow, yakuza and kaizen) which were pretty tasty except the rainbow that was pretty disappointed for me to be honest missing something a sauce or something. The ambiance is very nice and they also have some private room to eat in a more Japanese mood. Wasabi available 😘. The prices are pretty high but it was worth it A very lovely place for a romantic date

Now about the flaws: For Valentine's day we made a reservation but when we arrived our reservation was gone :/ gladly they still found us a table but I am a bit afraid to know what would have happened if they didn't have that table to be honest 😓 The music on the first floor is different than the music on the first floor most of the time which is pretty annoying and the speaker were just next to our table and a bit too loud while I think only the bottom music would be good enough for both. The table are not designed to work with this chairs x3 maybe cause we got a table for 4 instead of 2 but the chair is too high to go under the table so you have to be a bit...

Beautiful place, the service was not the great, took almost 20 min for someone to approach our table to ask if we wanted a drink, we literally had to wave the waiters a few times to get another drink, the place was empty, there were only 3 tables with customers, less than 10 customers total in the entire restaurant.

The food was mediocre, my daughter order the miso ramen, was really unflavored and plain, i ordered the rainbow roll and the Kysen I believe it was called, supposedly one of the most popular per the waiter. I like fresh sushi, where you are able to taste any sort of seafood, none of these...

What a PHENOMENAL spot in Hermosillo. I eat with my eyes first, so I checked out their IG page and found a shashimi dish no longer on the menu, the waiter made sure I got the dish and let me tell you; it was just PRRFECT!
