Taqueria El Kora — Restaurant in Sonora

Except for one item, this was a great place.

We had an order of tacos, one caramelo and a sope de chicharron.

The tacos were fantastic! The meats were all on point, flavorful, rich, perfectly seasoned in a perfect flour tortilla. Doesn't matter which meat you get you're going to want more.

I was almost forgetting the garnishes and sauces. The variety you get is amazing and fresh! The grilled green onions were perfect, pickled red onions and freshly sliced cucumbers and the variety of sauces were soo good I wanted to rub them all over my genitals but I refrained since this was in a public setting. From mild to searing, from roasted to pickled I'd pour these on my rice crispies every time if I could.

The caramelo was delicious. A caramelo is a different kind of quesadilla if you will. This on e had carne asada and cheese. I could have ate 10 of those!

Unfortunately the sope (I think it was a sope) had chicharron. The bad part was the big globs of fat as in more fat than anything else. If it hadn't been for that it would have been awesome. Other than that is was a great place to eat.

I'd go back, just not for the sope de chicharron. Maybe it was our bad luck that day. Still worth going back for...

The tacos, the salsas, the food, the sodas, the verduras, were awesome. It's delicious food that you gotta try. The girls serving the food were not awesome. They were lazy and Just standing on the door, she never went back to ask what we wanted or if we needed something else. When we finally caught the attention of one of the girls she said that who was the girl who was attending our table because it was not her and basically couldn't help us. When she took our food she just left the plate and left running without even asking if there was anything else we needed. I just wanted the food to match their customer service so I could give them 5...
