Restaurante El Balcón Teotihuacan — Restaurant in State of Mexico

After visiting the pyramids with my father, we decided to stop by this restaurant for a meal. I ordered the pechuga rellena de jamón, which came with a side of French fries and steamed vegetables, while my father chose the filete empanizado.

The service was mixed: my father’s dish arrived promptly, but mine took a considerable amount of time. When it finally arrived, I started with the sides. The vegetables were decent, as were the fries, though nothing particularly memorable. Unfortunately, the main dish, the stuffed chicken breast, was disappointing. It was overly hot and quite dry, with the cheese inside lacking flavor, making the overall experience less enjoyable. My father, on the other hand, was quite pleased with his meal and found it well-prepared and satisfying.

The restaurant itself has a safe and welcoming atmosphere, which is appealing for tourists looking for a comfortable dining experience. However, considering the high prices, I’d only recommend it if safety and location are top priorities. Some friends and I wanted to go out, so we decided to go to eat at this restaurant. I remember we went after one of our parades. We chose “El Balcon” because they had already gone and I had spoken wonders about this. So finally we all agreed. I asked for a chocolate milkshake and a crepe of chocolate with strawberries, I have to say that it tasted delicious. Also the food that my friends ordered looked tasty. I arrived a bit later, but immediately I looked for them and took a seat. One of the waiters came near us, he gave me the menú, after a few minutes he came back and took my order. De entrada, saltan las normas de higiene y seguridad, establecidas por el gobierno cómo protocolo ante la pandemia, al llegar a la mesa no hay una buena recepción, ni mucho menos una correcta desinfección de la misma; he asistido en varias ocasiones al lugar y siempre me llevo una decepción, en éste caso pedí un paquete de desayuno ejecutivo, el cuál consiste en chilaquiles acompañados con arrachera, más café o té, jugo y fruta, la cuál se sirve con miel Maple 🍁 y granola, lo cuál no es advertido con antelación, el jugo de naranja, bien naturalmente, el café deporable, sobre el té, el mesero (a) no brinda opciones y te llevan a su preferencia, el totopo bien, la salsa regular un tanto especiada en comino pero al final comestible, sobre el término de cocción de la arrachera tampoco existe gran oferta de opciones, el término bien cocido es el preferido por el personal, siendo qué la opinión del comensal ya ha sido descartada, la presentación bien, lo qué esperas de unos chilaquiles, los frijoles de un sabor reconocido y de la gran marca Isadora, claro qué naturalitos y caseros son los ideales; por último el servicio es descuidado y poco atentó, cabe remarcar qué los tiempos entre platos son un...
