El Maderense — Restaurant in Tamaulipas

El Maderense is a fairly new restaurant ( August 2022 ) located in the heart of Madero city, an uncommon place for a seafood restaurant that apparently worked good as is located in between a regular neighborhood.

The restaurant has a good interior atmosphere, plenty of space and a good distribution of tables, not a cozy but enjoyable mood, good to have a good lunch time with the family.

Based on what experienced each of us with the different plates ordered all were satisfied as the seafood tasted fresh, good balance of flavors and interesting and innovative proposals such as the chicharron covered shrimps that my in law enjoyed completely and the shrimp medallion I ordered was excellent have to say. Good food, good place, service was awesome. To me seemed a little bit pricy and there's not a visible parking lot. Other than that, I would definitely will return to El Maderense 👌.

I had the pleasure of trying out a few dishes at this hidden gem in Tampico. The lobster, the crab, and the shrimps were absolutely amazing - so incredibly fresh and flavorful. The fish soup was a standout dish, with multiple layers of delicious flavors that really left an impression. I also tried the “roballo al ajillo”, a white fish similar to codfish, which was also really tasty and fresh. All in all, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the food was really delicious and left me with a satisfying feeling of having eaten healthy and nutritious food. Si vas a Tampico, este lugar debes visitar obligatoriamente. El maderense es un restaurant familiar, pero a su vez con un ambiente musical bastante entretenido. Sus platos tienen una gran variedad y en mi caso, los que probé eran una delicia, te voy a recomendar los Shots de ostiones, pídete cuatro de una vez te voy a recomendar que pruebes las manitas de cangrejo en salsa maderense También te recomiendo que pruebes los camarones al coco, otra cosa que nos gustó mucho, fue la carne asada, de verdad estaba muy buena en el área de coctelería sus bebidas que estaban buenísimas, probamos carajillo, probamos margaritas, la Casa nos recomendó que probáramos la bebida Tampico y Madero nos gustó muchísimo esa ese sabor intenso. A esa bebida. También te la recomendamos yo como siempre me tomé dos mezcal, acompañado de su jardín de Naranjas, Tajín y sal.
