July 2021 I tried the octopus today pretty tasty.For Matamoros it's actually pretty nice. It's clean. And most of the food items pretty good flavor and decent sized portions. IThat being said the mixed fried rice has a lot of flavor. Some of their vegetable meat dishes have really good sizes of protein. In the coconut shrimp as pictured are pretty damn good. I asked for general tso chicken and got what looks like very spicy sweet and sour chicken. The chicken had like 5 chiles in it for one plate, way too much to enjoy. The egg rolls had cream cheese in them, why? I would expect a fried wonton to have cream cheese but not an egg roll. They were breaded too, why?? They were definitely not egg rolls but some weird version of an egg roll. The fried rice was good. I liked the sweet and sour sauce that came with the “egg rolls”. This is a nice place to get a good meal. The food was too notch and very gourmet, i got the chinese plate with chicken, it was delicious. The service is specailly good with the waiters bringing high-quality service . The food is a bit on the expensive side but when you have this style of food you're expected to pay more for this kind of place. I would come back any day of the week here.
