This is a restaurant that is trying to be Southern in Matamoros Mexico, the food is not a repeat not Cajun. But it is not bad my girlfriend had a garlic shrimp dish that was absolutely wonderful. Read moreThe restaurant is in a good location downtown with a good size parking. But it is a little antiquated. The servers are dressed in black and white suits giving the impression of fine dining. We didn't get asked if we needed another refill of coffee or anything else. We had to go up to the cashier to get our checks because of the lack of attention. Read moreI've been coming here off and on business trips and or with family. They are friendly and very consistent. The restaurant is very clean and well maintained. One entrance comes through the kitchen - now that is confidence in your cleaning and organization! Food is very tasty and plentiful. I personally typically get the chicken cordon Bleu which is huge and tasty. One note - certain dishes come with an odd pairing. For example my chicken comes with a few fries and onion rings.
