Casa Makech — Restaurant in Tizimin

We came here maybe 10 times, the environment is great the food is great, thats the only place in town that we were able to get vegetarian food (they don’t have any special dishes oriented for vegans or vegetarians so we eate salads, guacamole, cheese and eggs), but we had to fight every time for it to ask them to take away meat from dishes. The staff was very limited to make any flexible suggestions or decisions and we think that the limitations is unhealthy orders from the management. The staff is pretty spaced out and very not present, forgetting what we have ordered even if they were taking notes. Great wifi. Delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner. This is the best restaurant ever!

I dont like burgers, but my daughter's Tex mex Burger with potatoes was so delicious. The smoothies and frappé was incredibly delicious! It seems like everything has delicious surprises regarding flavours.

The place is wonderfully decorated. As an art lover I was captivated by the parafrases on the wall of the inside restaurent. Outside was very surprising and wonderful. A lady sat by fire making tacos.

The servers were really nice and top professionals!

Al principio éste solía ser uno de mis lugares favoritos para almorzar, cenar o tomar un trago, siempre viajaba 1 hora desde mi ciudad natal pero las últimas veces que lo visité en compañía de familiares y amigos, su servicio dejó mucho que desear: en las últimas 4 veces se nos negó la entrada al jardín, siempre con la misa excusa de que podría llover, a pesar de que las mesas contaban con sombrillas; entiendo que quieran cuidar al huésped pero como prestadores de servicios siempre deben dar la opción, al final el comensal paga y si se moja pues habra sido decisión suya; en una última ocasión tardaron una hora en tomar la orden, iniciamos con bebidas, las comandearon, las trajeron y jamás vinieron a preguntar por nuestros alimentos. Después de una hora intenté llamar a los meseros y todos hacían como que la virgen les hablaba por lo que tuve la penosa necesidad de levantarme, ir a la caja y pagar la cuenta. La señora morena que estaba ahí se sorprendió un poco, le di mi versión de los hechos y no pareció importarle en lo absoluto. Salimos del lugar con un muy mal sabor de boca, amigos de Tizimín me comentan que hoy en día su servicio va a pique, es una lastima el lugar es muy bueno y adoro aus frappes pero no regresaría definitivamente después de tantas...
