I’m very late posting and doing this review. My experience was one of a kind, and apparently not the first or last it will happen to. These are the last shots that I was able to take of the amazing Cenote. I mistakenly thought I wrapped my phone on my wrist and instead I unwrapped it causing the phone to drop. Yes I dropped my phone here. I figured this was the end of my 12 pro brand new phone because as many, I assumed if someone was to find it.. who could possibly return it? Well, what happened next blew my mind. The staff, the team dived in to look for my phone. Unfortunately, because I dropped it in the center all the way down, and there was so many people, it became impossible for them to keep going down and up for air. I saw one of the kids try and try and it was sad seeing his persistence fail each time. Broken hearted I was ready to leave, they took my information and I gave them the cell of the person that had driven us there so that she can help be in touch. The security assured me that the place was honest and if I was lucky just like many others that my phone would also be found. The next day I was told a team went in as the sun came out and someone with more experience in diving and holding their breath longer was able to retrieve it. I was without words. I was lucky my phone was in a $1 waterproof sealer and on airplane mode. When I was taken to retrieve the phone, I was so happy. I can lose the phone, but the memories and everything I had in that phone just doesn’t have a price. I gave them what I could and hope they gave that money to the team and to the one that saved my phone.

I’m grateful for how professional, and honest this place is. I had 0 hope, yet they proved me wrong and for that I am grateful because it gives me hope that there’s still kind and honest places that many of us can tour, talk about and visit again. I recommend this place over and over again, and it does not get the appreciation it deserves. The staff and team is dedicated to helping and making people have a great time. It also has a buffet, I recommend to go early and their margaritas are exceptional if anyone is into...

The worst customer service and experience I had in Mexico! It was the last stop in our day excursion from Cancun after Chichen Itza, and the goal was to swim in the Cenote! My son and I purchased two tickets for life vests as that’s mandatory. The girl at the changing room took the ticket from my hand and got distracted by another customer returning their vest. A second later completely denied that she got my ticket and wouldn’t give me the vest! We even showed from the credit card transaction on phone that we paid for two tickets by USD…still no! The girl wouldn’t admit. I could literally see that she even found the ticket in her pocket. And to my shock she crumbled it in front of us and threw it in trash and kept denying that she made a mistake! You don’t want this type of ridiculous and disrespectful behavior from a place that is literally designed to atrract Tourists! We had limited time to stay at the cenote .. and these people wouldn’t even try to help or solve the problem rather stood there with the grin on their faces. It left such a bad taste in our mouth that I am sharing this. 5 minutes before the end of our time there a supervisor came and asked if there was a problem. They definitely need to train their staff .. at least to know their own ticket price in USD! And to have...

Beautiful open air cenote with a small waterfall that is surrounded by a thick jungle close to Valladolid. Once tickets are purchased, you will receive a wristband and can head inside to purchase a locker and life jackets (approx. $7 USD for two life jackets and a locker). The cenote is small and located at the back of the property but you will pass by gift shops, a bar and a small restaurant. Even though it was raining, the view here was incredible and very picturesque. There is something magical about this place. They say your skin will feel different after your swim in the cenote given all the minerals in the water. This place is very well maintained and the staff are helpful. There are separate washrooms and change rooms onsite. You will need to take a shower prior to entering into the cenote to remove any sunscreen or insect repellent regardless if they are biodegradable or not to avoid polluting the cenote water. It's very refreshing when you descend into the cool water and if you are up to it, you can also jump into the water. You will be able to see fish in the water and the beautiful rock formation. The cenote sink holes are very deep so I would recommend you to bring a clear floating waterproof phone case if you are planning on taking...
