La Cantera Musical — Restaurant in Zacatecas

Our experience was very good. The food is very Zacatuercas, Mexican and delicious. The place is not elegant but clean, something that caught my attention was that suddenly got an urge for tequilas because the music was Jose Alfredo Jimenez. It's very well located, at the heart of Zacatuercas just one block away from an OXXO and 2 blocks away from my great hotel "Casa Torres". My first night in Zacatecas.I decided to get dinner here and I'm glad I did. The food was amazing!

It was about 6pm on Sunday night and only two other tables were taken. I tried the famous Asado de Boda and it did not disappoint. The meat was so tender, it broke down with just a fork and the sauce with it was incredible. The food came out in less than 5 minutes, so I assume its pretty popular here. All I can say is Yum Yum yummy! This is truly authentic as many around are but I really love the atmosphere here.

The cost is very good for the amount and portion that you receive. Bring the whole family and definitely make this a spot on your tour of Mexico.
