McDonald’s — Restaurant in Monaco

Ate here 4 days in a row. Every day we are here something was missing. The staff didn't speak enough English to understand. The first day, we were missing a hot chocolate, but did get an extra burger for some reason. The second day we didn't get an apple pie. The third day we were missing an ice-cream and the last a donut (and a spoon). It just makes you think that they are huge con artists and this is how they get extra money as a business. I did speak to a member of the team and all they said was 'it's coming' and walked off.

That being said, the food we did get was better than any other McDonald's I've been to. The fries however were cold and stale everyday we ate there, so avoid those and get the wedges instead.

Very expensive for McDonald's, and the self-service machine is the most confusing one I have used, as after selecting English most of it comes up in french anyway. For three people each night, it cost about €60 in total (keep in mind we didn't ever get our full order).

The view was amazing, best McDonald's in that sense. They had Halloween themed decorations which were lovely as well. Also have a TV that played football throughout the day. Beautiful location. However, there is a children's indoor play area, which is great for kids but not enjoyable for everyone else who had to endure screaming children for their entire incomplete meal.

Quite a small place too, a little hard to find a seat sometimes. There is always table service available though so you can save your seat.

Figured out on the last day that most of the hot drinks/desserts come from the McCafe that is situated inside. If that is shut, you can still order from there but not get any of your food. I would double check before ordering to potentially avoid what we had to go through every day. Keep in mind, we did visit at many different times throughout the trip and it was only at lunch time it was actually open.

The food comes in reusable containers and cups (plastic) so they can be washed and recycled. Great for the environment and I think all McDonald's should incorporate this.

I would recommend going, for the food you do get and the view. We only ate here regularly because we knew what we were getting as it's the same all...

I heard about bad experiences in this McDonald and wanted to test for myself. It was dirty and smelly. The kitchen staff is literally like kindergarden, everyone yelling and laughing, totally unprofessional. I don’t say you can’t have fun at work, of course you can - once you have completed the orders correctly! I don’t know if anything from what I ordered was correct, ah yes actually it was the beer because it comes in a can… First they forgot about the salad and brought cold french fries, then i got the salad but JUST the lettuce (I ordered ceasar salad) and the SAME french fries (thinking we are idiots and wont notice). For the third time it was finally the new french fries, but guess what - cold again and directly on a tray, no paper nothing… for the fourth time we got the french fries and the ceasar salad.. again exactly the same salad one just some stuff thrown over… 🤦🏻‍♀️😂 no sorry no nothing. I mean mistakes can happen but don’t look like you’re the one that’s annoyed and roll your eyes. We were missing cutlery but were so disappointed I just ate it with a spoon from the ice cream because I didn’t want to stand up for the 6th time and actually wanted to consume the food I paid for… Don’t think the hygiene control would be happy about this place either... I think I will avoid this place in the future and would rather go to...

I’ve visited this McDonald’s with my family three times - 2023, 2024, and 2025. And it was awful. The orders were always messed up, the cheeseburger was missing all the ingredients except the bun and the meat. It looked like those tables weren’t cleaned for years, and there was a really strange smell next to the kitchen. There even wasn’t a TV which would show us if the order was already prepared. And it should not be called a “fast food restaurant”, because 15 minutes is not fast, because all you need to do is just cook a cooked burger. All I liked was the view and that the employees were very hygienic. Overall rating - the person who owned this McDonald’s is probably sitting in his/her yacht and not taking care of what they should. Maybe I’m being too dramatic, but since this restaurant hasn’t improved in literally three years, it’s obvious that the owner really doesn’t care. So when you visit Monaco, which I really recommend, and see this “McDonald’s” run away as fast as you can. And if you dare to visit it, remember, that every choice has consequences, and those consequences will not always be good. Sorry for being ironic, but...
