Potala coffee shop — Restaurant in Ulaanbaatar

I went to their city center location, near the Zanabazar Art Museum. The coffee shop has its own charm. It is a cute coffee shop. However, it gets too stuffy and hot. They serve hot meals. The outside temperature was about 70 degrees Fahrenheit. I haven't tried their traditional Mongolian food. I ordered Chicken Cezar salad and Cream of Pumpkin soup. The salad has a few salad greens, a couple of slices of cherry tomato, and a couple of cucumber slices, and is topped with mayo and a handful of chopped chicken thigh meat; no shredded parmesan. The soup has a little pumpkin flavor and is mostly a liquified flour. I don't recommend their food based on my purchase. The place has a great ambiance, interesting decor, and many appealing features. However, there was one issue that really disappointed me. We ordered three coffees and one cheesecake; I got a caramel macchiato. The macchiato arrived much hotter than the usual 60-70 degrees, which actually burned my tongue, and I couldn’t taste any caramel. When I mentioned this to the barista, they took my coffee, added caramel, poured it back into the caramel container, shook it, and then poured it back into my cup.
