On my recent visit to Cetinje, Montenegro, I had the pleasure of dining at the Restaurant Nevjesta Jadrana, a charming place that promises a delightful culinary experience.
From the moment you enter, you're greeted with a warm, inviting atmosphere that hints at the traditional Montenegrin dining experience ahead. The decor is tastefully done, with a nod to local culture that offers a pleasant backdrop for the delicious fare.
The cuisine at Nevjesta Jadrana is nothing short of impressive. The menu offers a selection of dishes that embody the rich flavors and unique culinary heritage of Montenegro. Each dish we tried was cooked to perfection, the ingredients fresh, and the portions generous. Notably, their interpretation of local dishes struck a harmonious balance between authenticity and innovation.
The service at Nevjesta Jadrana was commendable. The staff was attentive, friendly, and ready to recommend their best dishes, ensuring we had a delightful dining experience. Their warm Montenegrin hospitality truly shines through in their service.
However, what stopped me from giving Nevjesta Jadrana a five-star review was the waiting time. During peak hours, the restaurant can get quite busy, and this seemed to affect the efficiency of their service. While the staff was always polite and tried their best to manage, the delay was noticeable.
In conclusion, despite the occasional delay in service, Restaurant Nevjesta Jadrana is an excellent choice for those seeking a traditional Montenegrin dining experience in Cetinje. With its impressive cuisine, friendly service, and authentic ambiance, it's a place that will leave your taste buds satisfied and longing for more. Solid four stars for...
Read moreWe cycled all the way up the climb and wanted to rest a bit and enjoy a coffee and tea. We sat down at a table and wanted to order but the waiter said that we couldn’t order because there were touring cars coming and it was ‘too busy’. The touring bus guests were getting an already prepared sandwich and a cold drink. We got one sandwich from one of the touring car people and ate the sandwich outside. We saw that at least 4 waiters were doing absolutely nothing for more than 10 minutes that we sat there. If I was the owner, why would I pay for personnel if they get paid but send away my customers. If you see a touring car bus, don’t go here, they don’t want you. Never in my life I went to bar or restaurant to got send away because there were other people. Haha what a joke this place. Good luck not...
Read moreWe came up the mountain with high hopes for this restaurant, but exept for the beautiful scenery the food and the service were just not acceptable. We had the Bruschetta wich was served on plain thin white sliced bread like the ones bought in a bag from the super market. Spaghetti bolognese that was a ABSOLUTE disgrase- bland meat, canned tomato sauce, just awful. Chicken schnitzel that was too tough to eat. The only ok dish was the greek salad that had fresh vegetables.
To be honest, we ate everything. Just because we were starving and the food took a long time to come out.
It pains me to have to leave such a bad review but I do hope the owners take note and make sure they fix these issues.
