A beautiful place, but unfortunately not family‑friendly.
The food in general was acceptable. The madghout meat was delicious, the meat kabsa was dry, the meat samosas were not tasty, and the Indian pakora was inedible, not fit to eat. But overall, the food was acceptable. The problem was with the service. From the moment we entered with a two‑year‑old boy and a four‑year‑old girl, we felt unwelcome from the staff, as if children were not welcome. I didn’t pay much attention to it at first, until a family with six children of different ages sat next to us. Then the children started playing together.
We were really surprised by the staff’s reaction, as they told us that the children should stay in their seats without moving, because this is a restaurant and people come here to relax!!!!! I asked the waiter why, and he said they had received complaints from customers??? And at another moment, when I asked who complained, he said “the manager,” fearing that the children might break something.
I was very upset about this, especially since the children were playing quietly and were not disturbing anyone. And he simply said that the place is not for children. I objected, saying that there should be a sign stating that children are not allowed, or it seems the place is meant for Middle East people and those around them.
It was truly a bad experience. The staff lacks good manners. I do not recommend families...
Read moreMandi and Kabsa rice was 💯
Firstly, the lamb mandi with kabsa rice was absolutely fantastic. The meat was cooked to perfection, tender and flavorful, with a nice smoky taste from the charcoal grill. The kabsa rice was also delicious, with just the right blend of spices and herbs to complement the lamb perfectly.
In addition to the amazing food, the restaurant itself was lovely, with a cozy and welcoming atmosphere that made you feel right at home. Furthermore, the Moroccan mint tea was the perfect accompaniment to the meal, refreshing and flavorful with just the right amount of sweetness. It was the perfect way to end a delicious and satisfying meal.
The service at Bayt Al Mandi Gulf Restaurant was also excellent. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure that you had everything you needed to enjoy your meal.
Overall, I would highly recommend Bayt Al Mandi Gulf Restaurant to anyone looking for an authentic and delicious arab dining experience in Agadir. The lamb mandi with kabsa rice was outstanding, the Moroccan mint tea was refreshing...

The Food - this place is styled that it's a Middle Eastern Mandi Madfoon Rice style. The meat is soo tough. The chicken is cooked separately and added to the rice after. It's embarrassing to say you're Arabic Gulf food. The rice has no flavor. It's dry and you Can tell it's reheated.
Even the 20dh coffee I buy from a shop accepts card 💳 and this restaurant for 400dh bill doesn't accept card. No sign up, the waiter doesn't tell you that it's card only.
My child got locked in the toilet! The lights turn off every 10 second on the sensor. Fake Paid Review.
